Media Group highlights the anniversaries of NEO, Staff and Speed

February 8, 2023

Media Groupe celebrated the anniversary of its 3 companies on February 2 in Montreal: 20 years for NEO, 20 years for Speed and 25 years for Staff.

The celebration took place in the offices of Média Groupe where customers, business partners and employees of the various companies were invited to share an excellent selection of dishes and drinks. Various activities had been organized and magnificent gifts were given to all the guests. The premises were decorated in the colors of the companies to honor the achievements of each of the companies over the years. The presence of many participants demonstrated the success and quality of the path traveled by Media Groupe and its companies (Neo, Staff and Speed) over the past two decades.

This was an opportunity for its president, Ronald Tapiero, to thank all those who contributed to this great adventure and to recall that the group has been able to adapt and evolve by taking up different "challenges" over the years. . “Today, we are stronger and more equipped than ever to conquer new markets, to seize new opportunities and to pursue our development. I am convinced that today we have the best teams in place within our 3 companies,” he said.

Speed, an agency specializing in brand activation, celebrated its 20th anniversary. The company has developed and executed over 2000 campaigns during this time for a wide variety of clients in different industries.

Staff, the largest event personnel agency in Quebec, celebrated its 25th anniversary. The company which was founded and developed by Josée Rousseau was acquired at the end of 2019 by Speed. After two difficult years during the pandemic, the company recorded in 2022 a turnover 5 times higher than in 2019, the pre-pandemic year.

Neo, a display media, has taken several very important shifts over the past 3 years that have transformed the company. A digital shift (its inventories are now 87% digital with nearly 3,000 screens installed in more than 500 sites across the country), a technological shift with the development of extremely sophisticated platforms that have completely transformed its marketing and the work of its employees, a shift in business intelligence with the integration into the media plans offered to its customers of demographic data specific to each of its 500 sites in the country (and soon those concerning consumer behavioral data - Vividata) and finally the diversification shift with the addition of 3 new networks (Neo On the Go in gas stations and convenience stores, Neo Fitness in fitness centers and Neo Mobile which offers mobile display solutions on cell phones, tablets and computers).

“I would of course like to thank our many customers and partners for their trust and loyalty over the years. They know that we work very hard for them and they give it back to us very well. We are privileged to have so many quality customers and partners,” added Ronald Tapiéro during his speech.
